Book Trailer at Book Expo America- Today is the Last Day in New York City!

Hello everyone! I wanted to take a moment and let you know that the book trailer for my book (book included) is being shown at the 2015 Book Expo America in New York City at the Jacob Javits Center. The book trailer can be found by plugging in my name into YouTube.com or using this link: https://youtu.be/U4rEOnGPU2I Most people said that they liked the video and it made them want to read the book. I am thinking about showing the book in the Book Fair being held out in San Francisco in June. I am debating about doing that. I will probably just decide to do it! I asked the Combined Book Exhibit rep for a video of where it is being shown in New York City venue so I can show you all the location. I will try to post some pictures of the Book Expo America event since it is pretty impressive. I went to the event last year. I had limited time to devote to attending this year. It didn’t merit the $200 price tag to attend the event. Obviously, the event is intended more for professionals than for outside public. If I get the Book Expo America footage, I will share. Okay, back to the grind. Cheers! Leslie M Jasper (Stakley)

Book Trailer for 2015 Book Expo America To Be Shown in NYC May 2015!

Hello everyone! Here is the link to my book that is available worldwide on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Construction-Tales-Volume-Journey-Electrician/dp/1467960160 I just did a book trailer with The Combined Book Exhibit. They will be showing it for me at the 2015 Book Expo America here in New York City the end of this month. I will have the book on display as well. I am looking forward to seeing it at the book fair on display. It has been loaded up onto YouTube as well. Here is the YouTube video link: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U4rEOnGPU2I I am still reading Hard Hatted Women. I plan to finish the book soon. I will then take the time to digest the book with you all. It is important to gain other perspectives by fellow women in the trade. It enriches my knowledge and strengthens my position on the subject. Every once in awhile, I realize that I am indeed a part of history. It needs to be written down or it will get lost or time. I got to meet, via Facebook, the editor of Hard Hatted Women, Molly Martin. I plan to finish the book and read the other 2 books written by women in the trades next. I can't wait to read about women plumbers from England!! They own an all female plumbing company! Stay tuned for that review!! I'm off to do my chores! I plan to drop off a copy of the teen version of my book to a library in Rhode Island today. I have many more locations to drop off my book if they are willing! Have a great weekend! Thanks for reading! Cheers! Leslie M Jasper

Combined Book Exhibit Book Trailer for Book Expo NYC 2015!

Hello everyone! I am in the process of developing a book trailer that will be shown at Book Expo America at the end of this month. It takes place in New York City at the Jacob Javits Center. I am looking forward to seeing the final product. I will be sharing it when finished. It is supposed to be 90 seconds long and has a narrative along with music. I have no clue what kind of music that will be used! I plan to include some work photos in the trailer. I will be working with the team this week to get it ready. I will keep you all posted! I wasn't planning on putting the book in the Expo this year. I guess my plans have changed. I still have to listen to the audio version of the book. It needs a final listen before becoming available online. I will share when I get the news that it is finished! As always, thanks for reading! Cheers! Leslie M Jasper

Donated a Book to Young Leaders Circle

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I wanted to share that I reached out to a handful of organizations in the New England region. My effort is to get a few copies in the library. I reached out to a group in Rhode Island called Young Leaders Circle. They are tied to the United Way of Rhode Island. They promised to promote my book on the United Way of Rhode Island website. I haven't been able to find it yet on the website. Here is the website: http://www.uwri.org/ylc I hope to inspire young people to do whatever it is their heart desires and do not let anyone hold them back. That is the theme of my book (adult/teen). I plan to do more reaching out to other organizations in the near future. I have the pile of CD's sitting on my desk that are the audio version of the book. I have to listen to the book and do a final edit. I need to get that task before releasing on Audiobooks when done. I will share the release news when I'm finished and available, of course. I thank you for reading and have a fabulous day! Cheers! Leslie M Jasper
