2nd Funny Chapter Clip From The Construction Tales Series!

Hello everyone! Here is another chapter clip from the book series known as Construction Tales: Cheers! Leslie M Jasper Funny jobsite memory- Construction Tales I was working on a job where guys were plastering photos of naked women on the gang box. I had a coworker ask me if I was okay with the nudity. My smart ass reply, "Why?? Are they pictures of me??" A moment of fear flashed over his face. Then humor consumed his face when I flashed a cheesy grin from ear to ear. "Bro, I don't give a shit! As long as my name and social is right on the check." I decided to even the score of smut on the walls of the metal gangbox. I picked up a magazine with guys wearing leather hot pants while shirtless. Those babies were plastered all over the inside lid of the second gangbox. It looked like a collage of man meat- perhaps a middle school girl's locker. I didn't post nude photos- just super provocative. Come on, I had to demonstrate some class...haha! I walked back to the gangbox to get some material. The fire alarm guy comes running up to me and says, "Ohhh thank God!!" I stared at the man for a moment perplexed yet highly amused. He says, "I was trying to figure out which electrician was the gay guy! I'm so happy to see you on the job!" Laughter erupted while I gazed at the man collage behind him. Now that, my friend, made my day! www.lesliemjasper.blogspot.com

A Story From The Construction Tales Series!

Hello everyone! Here is a short chapter clip from the book series known as Construction Tales: Construction Tales short story- We were doing boring things in a small shop I worked for during my 5th year of my apprenticeship. We moved our shop from one location to another. During the move to the new space, I noticed an empty gumball machine. After walking past it a few times, I stopped to check it out. The date on it was from 12 or so years ago! No one is coming back for it! I wonder how much money is in it?? After wrestling with the devil and angel, I dragged it into the shop. I pulled out my drill and sawzall and went to work on it. I did get help from a few coworkers. One helped hold it while I cut the back out. Another coworker helped me dump the "dead soldier". I even got busted cutting it open by both of my bosses! Known in the shop afterwards as "bulletproof". For the rest of the story, check out my book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iTunes! www.lesliemjasper.blogspot.com Cheers! Leslie M Jasper

Started My New Book Via Dragon App Entitled, Transcend Against All Odds

Hello everyone! My long drives allow me plenty of time to focus on my thoughts. I also started talking to my new Dragon app so I can get my next book on paper. The title is going to be, Transcend Against All Odds. I have to load my imagination into a book. My goal is to get it published by the end of the year. I will then go back to Construction Tales Volume 2.. Some thoughts to go into the book. The beauty of a long distance relationship is that you always enjoy each other's company since those moments are small and precious. The downside are many shared moments are lost. Then again, the probability of a successful relationship is higher due to not spending as much time invading personal space and freedom. The good thing in life is those choices are truly by choice and not forced. It is sad my metric of what a union is goes back to my marriage at 18 years old and a long time union with someone I had nothing in common with (I was convinced this person was kind, caring, and a family man)- it was a long run that should not have lasted as long as it did. However, if I didn't have that experience, I would not be so cautious as to who I allow to get closest to me. Everything happens for a reason. Trying to find gratitude for the sunlight even when it feels dark is the key to continued positive energy. It has been my biggest feat starting the process of digging out of a relationship, health, financial, and educational hole. There is more work to do! Somehow, it ALWAYS seems to work out!! As always, thank you for checking out my blog! Cheers! Leslie M Jasper
