According to the internet dictionary, someone who is two-faced is not sincere, saying unpleasant things about you to other people while seeming to be pleasant when they are with you. A good way for people to no longer trust you would be to get caught acting two-faced. For many people, they tend to put some distance in between themselves and the person who got caught in a web of conflicting views. I understand the person who doesn't want to share their personal problems and/or relationship dynamics with other people. It's indeed not necessary to share with anyone who would listen what you feel deep down for someone. It's wise to be cautious and be mindful of what you say in mixed company. How does the behavior of a two-faced person impact you? Do you let them ramble on or stop them dead in their tracks?
