I have a project that is starting next week that involves some time outside with the concrete trade. I'm trying to figure out how we are going to be working in the snow. I'm sure I will talk about my first week upon completion. I'm excited to learn in a different trade than mine. The purpose of this post is to share the release of my latest two podcast episodes. Due to the size of the recording, I had to split the discussion up into two parts. I have edited and released both parts onto the podcast platform of choice and YouTube. I got a suggestion to write about how I juggled both motherhood and working as an electrician. I became a widowed single mom very young. I would say that struggling is the term to use and the theme of my motherhood era. Sadly, I strongly associate the single mother world with pain and struggle...LOL. I didn't run around finding a man to fill in the gaps. I had a kid with behavior problems that I didn't want to dump on anyone. I honestly had a fear of being a widow again. The mental anguish from that experience deterred me from getting out there and trying for many years. I may try my hand at dating again by the spring. I will just have to accept that death is a part of the long term plan. I probably wasted many years worrying about it. It is hard to realize that this was my issue when I was in my 20's. We are all where we are supposed to be in life. I explain this paradigm and my challenges more in depth in these (2) podcast episodes.
