What Is Your Personality Acronym?

Photo Credit: www.mouth.com Hello Everyone! I stumbled upon yet another requested question on Quora. This seemed like another decent question for a young person to ask. As I stated before, I wish that I had this brand of advice when I was younger. Yes, I know that people heavily rely on the 16 personality traits, such as Socionics, in an effort to tap into and predict behavior of different types of people. Here are the 16 different types of personalities based upon Socionics: ESTJ ENTJ ESFJ ENFJ ISTJ ISFJ INTJ INFJ ESTP ESFP ENTP ENFP ISTP ISFP INTP INFP A test taker who desires to know their own personality type follows the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator in order to earn their behavior acronym. A fun fact is that the matriarch of inventor Myer Briggs, his mother Katharine Cook Briggs, first began research into personality types back in 1917. I went ahead and took the free personality test and I appear to be an INFJ-T. I am going to offer the link to the free personality exam that you can take for yourself. I will also offer a link to my own personality type in case you also belong to my personality group. Now, I'm interested in your perspective since I am aware that I am not the only voice of reason on the planet. What do you think of the personality tests? Do you already have your own personality labeled according to this test? If not, are you mildly curious as to what group you belong to now? Should you re-take the exam a few times? His communication is consistent but talks to me like once a week but when he does, he’s talkative". -Jennifer Leigh MY RESPONSE: "Regardless of the personality type, a man will pursue a woman they truly want. A man will put a woman on the back burner if he has other options or other irons in the fire. A man’s brain is biologically wired to pursue a woman he is attracted to for many, many years and civilizations. This remains undefeated and unchanged. The most important question to answer here is, “what do you want?” You can’t control another person’s actions. However, you can remove yourself from the situation if he isn’t moving at your pace. If you are busy with your life and don’t mind the part-time connection, then go with it. As a young woman, if you waste more than 6 months, you are wasting your time. Don’t waste your prime years waiting on a man to give you his full attention. Men will continue to waste valuable time as long as you let them. Your youth passes quickly before you know it. If you like the once a week bursts of conversation, then by all means go for it. He may be juggling you and some other ladies while trying to figure out which one he likes better. He is offering you just enough so you don’t ghost him. The choice is yours to make. You either waste time to see if the relationship progresses for a set period of time or keep wasting your youth on a man’s crumbs. Set a time frame of 3–6 months and analyze if he picks up his communication. If it improves and you want to explore it, by all means. It is your risk vs reward to earn or lose. Advice On Qualities To Look For In A Partner?

I wish that I had advice when I was younger. Then again, I was head strong and needed to make my own mistakes. I had gotten married as a young 18-year old girl. I only ran with the extreme physical chemistry and I didn't look beyond the external shell. Looking back, that was a huge mistake. I was a young kid who thought it was a great idea to embark on the adult thing as a teen wife. Once you get into the weeds, dealing with another person on every aspect of life was a huge challenge. Being financially, emotionally, legally, and physically responsible for another person can be a scary thing. It's scary that a spouse can ruin you in every way possible. My husband ended up passing away in an accident two years after getting married. I have no idea if we would have made it as a couple. My older self says no since I am a very different person compared to my 18-year old self. The person I am today would be checking my partner for the laundry list of matching qualities below. Even with great qualities, I am still a rather cautious person. With my age comes quite a few years-worth of experience. I have tried playing it safe with all future relationships after being a "child" bride. I'm interested in your perspective since I am aware that I am not the only voice of reason on the planet. Each level is a progression to your end goal. What is your end goal? Are you just looking for friends with benefits? If so, then just speak up. If you are looking for a long-term relationship or marriage, then you want to have a few basics down before going deeper into a rabbit hole with the other person. Why get wrapped up in a person if you are not ultimately compatible? People have one set of expectations and they evolve over time. Not doing your homework ahead of time can lead to heart break for both parties down the road. The first basic stage is finding a person physically attractive. Then love is on another level. Marriage or a long-term companion is an even higher level. You should know if you are both compatible with the following: 1. common interests such as hobbies, music, etc. 2. a party goer vs a home body 3. desire to have children in the future 4. any issues with religion if not the same 5. the relationship goals of each person 6. the dynamics of each family member nearby 7. short and long term dreams and goals 8. desired geographic location to settle down 9. the family dynamics upon first having a child 10. the type of spender/saver each party is 11. which person wants to keep up with the Jones vs frugal? 12. the type of career a person plans to have I believe that you should pay attention to these basic qualities along with your personal goals in the very beginning. You can avoid falling in love with someone that was incompatible from the minute you opted to let them know that they like you or they shared that they liked you. My Interpretation On Rejection And The Silent Treatment

Hello Everyone! Every once in awhile, I am requested to answer a question on Quora that just really annoys the hell out of me! This posed question is a prime example. I don't know if it was posed with a person with a language barrier or not. Perhaps I read it wrong?? I'm not certain either way. I felt like the writer was mad that their manipulation, via rejection, did not work as planned on the other person. Either party dishing out the silent treatment and/or rejection was trying to manipulate the other person's emotions. Mixed feelings would unfold for either party after years, months, or weeks of constant or periodic arguing and giving the silent treatment. If you cannot figure out how to agree and have some form of peace, you should expect the other party to want to check out emotionally at some point. When you keep pushing a person away, eventually they will stop wanting to fight for the relationship. Not everyone had the mental fortitude to keep sticking around in a challenging relationship. I hate when people play games! (ggrr!) I interpret the writer as pushing the person to the point to where they are no longer able to predict subsequent behavior. Now that the behavior is unreadable, they are asking for advice on how to respond with the intent of roping the person back in. I also interpret that writer as only pointing out the behavior of the other party with no accountability on their own behavior. Each time you give a person the silent treatment, just be prepared for them to have enough and possibly walk. If they do walk, that is on both of you for not trying to end the war. Relationships are about compromise and creating a peaceful realm of cohabitation. Who the hell always wants to be in a war zone? Well...do you think I read the question correctly? What are you expecting?? Rejection will make a person not act properly or ignore you. If a person has feelings, the mixed signals will make sense after a rejection. Are you rejecting them and hoping that they act crazy and kiss your ass to get back into your good graces?? If so, you are playing games and YOU are the terrible communicator. More Random Weekend YouTube Videos!

Hello Everyone! Did you enjoy this past weekend in a low key, more of an adventure, or a party weekend? As I shared in the previous post before, I opted to go on an adventure this weekend and meet new people on our Friday-Saturday road trip to Newport, Rhode Island. We went on the Cliff Walk and then found a spot to get a bite to eat. After checking in, we went back out to enjoy a night on the town. We met drunken Bobby while at the Fastnet Pub and recorded some of his antics. He was picking up on "the cougar" known as Melissa. Bobby's relative scooped him out of the bar and made him go with them. We videoed having to plunge the toilet in the hotel. We do not recommend staying at the Forrest Trail Hotel that is 5 miles away from Newport. It needed so much maintenance, it is not even funny. We opted to go back home, catch some sun at the lake, and then catch up with a friend on Saturday night. While we were out Saturday night, Justin, from The 440 Line in New Fairfield, CT, hooked us up with a funny video he had taken where he injured himself. I will let the video speak for itself. Sharing YouTube Videos-Exploring Newport, RI

Hello Everyone! How was your weekend everyone?! Did you enjoy it low key or more of a high energy weekend? I opted to go on an adventure this weekend and meet new people. I went with my co-host and bestiiee Melissa and took a road trip early Friday to Newport, Rhode Island. We checked out the island that makes up the coastal town of Newport. The southern has a walking path that is known as the "Cliff Walk". This path crosses the properties of a few preserved mansions near the water such as, "The Breakers", "Rosecliff", and a few others. We walked the path with my dog Daisy. It was very hot and she had gotten very tired so we turned around. At some point, we had to carry her back to the truck because she opted to lay down. Can You Keep A Secret?

Hello Everyone! I have been involved with many things this past week. How has your week been? I opted to respond to some Quora questions while out on my evening strolls. I have been walking regularly for the past year. I had previously packed on some pounds after I started Covid-19 remote working. The stress from the unknown factors did not help either. Gaining the weight made me miserable so I just opted to counteract the new sedentary work life via walking some miles at night. I'm pleased to say that I got those pounds off and much more. I am still working on it. Anyone else doing their walking too? I want to always be in decent shape to have to kick some ass if I have to do so. I now work to get a minimum of 13K steps in each day. In the past week, I actually got in 25K steps and was hurting by the end of the trek. I have to keep at this goal since it is regular thing I do now. Besides, those endorphins from exercise and your favorite music is a good type of high to have. I have learned some lessons and gained some new habits from this pandemic within the past year. What have you learned in the past year that has been helpful to you moving forward? How are you when it comes to keeping a secret? Do you feel compelled to blab the gossip around or do you keep a secret close to the vest and take it to the grave? How do you feel if you feel safe enough to divulge a secret only to find out that it has been blabbed to others? If you feel violated, we are on the same page? If you feel like you that you just paid the price of a slice of your privacy to discovery the integrity of this person, we are still on the same page. I don't understand the person who justifies their choice of exposing another person's private thoughts to other parties. Here is the posed question and my response below. POSED QUESTION: "What does it mean if you tell somebody a secret about somebody and they go back and spread it?" -Taylor Santiago MY RESPONSE: "You just paid a price of privacy to learn that the person you told a secret to has no ability to exercise discretion. You learned that you cannot trust them. You also learned their feelings about you by making those kinds of moves behind your back. Be grateful that the price to learn that lesson wasn't more involved than a just chunk of privacy. It could have been a financial drain or cost a person their life. I stumbled upon another podcast that I decided to check out from my weekly rounds of meeting both new authors and podcasters on Twitter. I crossed paths with Melissa Sak from the Brook Reading Podcast on Twitter. We opted to check each other's work out. I discovered that Melissa is an author of the book entitled, "Turning Point" by Melissa Sak. Turning Point can be found on Amazon in both e-book and paperback formats. I checked out a few Brook Reading Podcast episodes while out on my walk and/or multi-tasking. The first podcast I checked out was on the vices of the presidents from the United States of America. I love to hear salacious details on public figures. It makes them more relatable to us mere mortals. I then checked out the episode on Bust Magazine featuring legendary rocker Courtney Love as well as other leading figures in entertainment. I had never previously heard of the term "shebonics" prior to peeping this episode. I am tickled to hear other terms in entertainment such as "the flaming lips". I don't really know what it is about but it must be sassy! I didn't know that this magazine existed and the fact that Bust magazine just celebrated a 20-year anniversary. Another interesting fact is that Courtney Love is working on releasing an autobiography. As a person who loves double entendre, I appreciated that Bust Magazine is about women get issues and topics off their chest. I just checked out where Melissa is from and she is from Scotch Plains, New Jersey. She is literally only 44-miles away from me here in New York City! I may have to get my co-host Melissa P. and schedule a road trip where we sit down and do a collaboration together in person. The older I get, the more I appreciate rubbing elbows with fellow strong women. Not a woman with a big mouth who barks a lot trying to control people and get her way. I can usually see behind that facade of bullshit and I don't respect it. I vibe well with women who are honest, fair, hard-working, not looking to scheme a man, and enjoying their best life in an upbeat, positive manner. Any woman who claims they are independent can't have their hands in the pocket of a man. I appreciate strong women who are about handling their own business, not afraid to speak honestly on their observations, confident enough to lift other women up, and serve as a mentor for young girls growing up and trying to find their voice. This is the impression that I get from Melissa's work and I like it. She has a soothing yet firm voice that is professional laced with some honest observations and a lil potty mouth edge. I shared with her that I appreciated her take on Thomas Jefferson who was our 3rd U.S. president from 1801 to 1809. I howled when I heard she said, "I didn't know that Jefferson was a basic bitch, but apparently he was". Melissa was referring to Thomas Jefferson's preferred drink was a white wine spritzer. I do find it humorous that one of the early leaders of the free world is a wine spritzer kind of guy. I envision our founding fathers having a wad of chewing tobacco in their mouths while sipping vodka at room temperature right out the bottle like a Viking! I am a huge fan of the little odd facts about public figures. I am encouraging Melissa to venture on and find more of that content for future episodes and tag me on Twitter so I can peep it. Based upon her content, I gather that Melissa is a modern day feminist. She offers her view of the world within that light and not afraid to take a stand on her few. She encourages other women to shine and is very confident with that delivery. I can't say it enough. I truly appreciate her taking the time to review my work and share it with her audience. She even promoted it in her podcast! I have attempted to cross promote and collaborate with other women in the past. It was hinted that they feared my work would overshadow their project. Meanwhile, we each had a great opportunity to share our work in different arenas. I have the construction background so I have had limited engagements with women. For many years, I had preferred men to women since many are confident and have an abundance mindset. To find that same mindset in a woman is truly a treasure! I have since found some kick ass women, in a variety of different arenas, that have evolved my viewpoints. Melissa is so giving with sharing the works of other authors and podcasters, I struggled to find her own book!! This gives such insight to her as a person. I found her book that is entitled, "Turning Point" and is on Amazon in both e-book and paperback. I actually just added the book to my Amazon cart since the description sounds interesting. This book is on two women who cross paths and go on an adventure together and encounter dangerous obstacles. I enjoy reading but I just fill my days with loads of work and stuff. I will have to carve out time and make myself read at night since it is peaceful. I will give an overview and ask Melissa a variety of questions and post about it after I have read it. If you have already read the book, let me know? I totally value a podcaster who shares the history of strong women throughout time. I find it important since knowledge is power. I remember hearing a well-known YouTuber say to a woman caller, while on his show, that men create everything in society. He claimed that women do not contribute to society, they just enjoy the benefits. He then challenged the woman further, "name some women contributors to society?" Sadly, the woman was silent on the topic. I know that there are many strong women who have contributed to our society. We were just not taught the names in society. Hopefully, women such as Melissa, can work to fill in the blanks of those types of conversations. There are many of us women who chose a construction trade as our profession. I am tapped into an entire network of women who belong to any trade imaginable on the internet. These women do exist in the world as both past and present. Their contributions are just not showcased with the magnitude like their male counterparts. Therefore, I find the work of The Brook Reading Podcast to be very valuable for men and women now and the people who have yet to be born. The same well-known YouTube personality bitched that there are not enough women who work in building America. There are many reason why the construction industry only contains 6% of women within the work force. It's not easy being in this trade dealing with politics and the bullshit of some men. I am used to the dudes who run their mouths. I learned to offer sharp retorts to shut their asses down. However, as an outsider coming in, that is an unpleasant reality and it can be intimidating as hell! It is super hard to carry a baby while working with the tools. I'm now dropping a hint that the topic of "being pregnant while working with the tools" will be my next podcast episode. The hardest thing I ever did in my life was work outside climbing extension ladders while I was over 30 weeks pregnant. Perhaps more women will be inclined to join the industry when more of the old broads, such as myself, serve as a mentor and encourage them to come in. As I say it again, I wholeheartedly believe that Melissa's work of offering her audience an education is very valuable. The Brook Reading Podcast is very generous and selfless with time offered to sharing the work of others. Melissa deserves to have her work shared on the platforms of other podcasters as well. Thanks To Ireland, UK, and Other Countries Who Stop By!

You all come in REALLY strong in both my audio blog and the Verbally Disastrous podcast!! I want to recognize the countries who check out both the audio blog and my podcast. I have Ireland on my bucket list of places to see. I need input from the locals as to where I should go and what should I check out? My goal would be to drink beer and bullshit with the most random of people. I absolutely admire the beauty of your coastlines in Ireland!! I welcome suggestions my friends. Based upon my Anchor hosting platform analytics, roughly 1/3 of the people who listen to my audio blog are from Ireland. The second group are fellow Americans from the United States. I give much love and respect to all. Now, I feel like I need to learn more about the countries who check out my work!! After all, I found out a few years ago my connection to Ireland through my family lineage. Over the years, I used to have people tell me that I look very "Irish". I would respond that I do not know exactly. I believe that I am considered a melting pot of many nations. I still have to do the whole DNA test to see what exactly is my composition. Perhaps that would be fun to do the test and write about it. Off the top of my head, I originally just thought that I am Danish, Dutch, and Swedish. My aunt Kathy, who passed away a few years ago, was really deep into geneaology. She had given me old records from our ancestors coming here from Sweden in the 1700's. The person I REALLY resemble tremendously within my family is my paternal great grandmother!!! Her name was Florence Givens Farley and I would have to dig up my paperwork on when she was born and passed. I lost my paternal grandparents when I was a small kid as well. I created a collage of my great grandmother Florence and my senior photo of when I was 16-years old (trying to find a picture to make her age). I most definitely look like her. I remember seeing her photo for the first time. I was absolutely shocked as to how much I resemble her so much!! Well, what do you think? Now in honor of celebrating the people who breathe life into my work, I need to find and share some facts about the people of Ireland and UK. I have many other nations who show love in smaller numbers as well. You are also appreciated as well. For now, let's go with (10) facts each for Ireland and the UK. If you have something to contribute, please let me know so I can add it. If I am incorrect, please let me know so I can fix it. IRELAND FACTS: 1.) The population of Ireland is 4,996,435 as of 2020. 2.) The total land area is 68,890 Km2 (26,599 miles). 3.) The median age of the population is 38.2 years old. 4.) Ireland is the only country in the world to have a musical instrument as it's national symbol. 5.) The capital of Ireland is Dublin. 6.) More people live outside Ireland than in the country. There are 39 million Irish Americans. 7.) St. Patrick was born in Wales around 386AD and not in Ireland. 8.) Nigerians drink more Guinness than the Irish do. 9.) There are no wild snakes in Ireland. 10.) Ireland was the Titanic's last port of call, in Cobh, County Cork, and was built by 15,000 Irishman in Belfast. UK FACTS: 1.) Four countries make up the United Kingdom that include: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. 2.) The population of the United Kingdom is 66.65 million as of 2019. 3.) London is the capital of the United Kingdom. 4.) Stonehenge is located in the south of England and is believed to have been created in 3000BC. 5.) The voted national dish of the UK is the chicken tikka masala. 6.) Great Britain & the UK are two different things. UK includes Northern Ireland but Great Britain doesn't. 7.) The Channel Tunnel connects Dover, England to Calais, France. Opened in 1994, you can take a high-speed underground train between London-Paris in 2hrs. 8.) The UK has four surviving languages that include: Scottish Gaelic, Irish Gaelic, Welsh, and Cornish. 9.) There is not a single point in Britain that is more than 75 miles from a coastline. 10.) The oldest home in the UK is 6,000 years old, furnished with stone furniture, and still remains today. My goal was to pull facts that I had not previously known about before writing this post. I am surprised how small the population of Ireland as well as the count in the United States. I am humored that Nigerians hit the Guinness harder than the Irish. It is good to be an island free of snakes! I was surprised to see the number of folks involved in the creation of the Titanic. I have to remind myself that this was the era before power tools. I feel like I need to learn more about Wales since it feels like the biggest mystery out of all of the countries in the United Kingdom. I want to know why only Northern Ireland is a part of the UK and not the entire country of Ireland? Hopefully, someone listening can give me their perspective vs trying to Google it myself. It is well known, within the US, that UK citizens drink a bunch of tea, have Stonehenge, the Queen, the Lok Ness Monster, and the history of St. Patrick's Day. Hello Everyone! I opted to peep a few episodes of the Piggly Dogg Podcast on Spotify. I opted to write a review on the dynamic grocery store clerk duo. We all randomly discuss a wide variety of topics on Twitter. The Piggly Dogg has both a Facebook and Instagram page as well. As of now, I have not discovered a website or a blog. I have questions down below for the gang to respond to down below. I opted to check out the podcast and write a review. When we are all starting out with our own projects, it always helps to assist and cross promote each other. It has been fun so far to check out each other's labor of love. I would say that their podcast concept is very unique in nature. I have yet to cross paths with another podcast that mirrors their same style. The Piggly Dogg is hosted by dad Rick Horne and his young son Noah Horne. Now I am presuming their family associations. They would have to let me know if they are related in a different manner. For each episode, the father and son duo are promoting a wide variety of grocery products from, "the greatest (fictional) grocery store in the south". The weekly specials are broadcasted on their podcast from Big Lick, Virginia. I paused on the name of the town and was trying to figure out if it is a real town or they are just messing with us?? It was high time to Google the town Big Lick to see if it is legit or not. Yes, it is indeed a legit town that is 7.5 hours away from New York City!! The Piggly Dogg grocery store was first opened in August of 2020 on the podcast. That is cool that they are celebrating a podcast anniversary next month. The Piggly Dogg is very much a super unique podcast concept! I find plenty of content to softly giggle at while in inappropriate locations. (cue blushing) Rick is the voice of the following podcast characters: Chuck Fluffernutter III, Jehoshaphat, Mark the Seafood Man, Coupon Bot, Fruit Man, and Meat Man. Of course, my dirty construction worker mind giggled and made up scenarios with the "Meat Man" character. They give opportunities for folks to call in and leave a message to be put onto the podcast. I intend to submit an audio clip as Mrs. Crabtree who is wanting a refund for her bad meat purchase. (cue evil laugh) Yes, I know it must be kid friendly so it must be crafted in a double entendre style. Meanwhile, young Noah is the voice of Emmett McCoy. I sifted through a few episodes and shared some screenshots of the Spotify podcast episodes in this post above. I find the Piggly Dogg to be a fun loving, family friendly, and upbeat entertainment. The car scene where they are driving to headquarters for a hand slap and to beg management for a promotion made me laugh. I just wished that young Emmett had a microphone to hear his exchange better. I shared the podcast with my two sons as soon as I listened to my first episode. I found some products to be rather funny as well. The son Noah's engagement with the podcast adds to the vibe of the show. He adds the young, random retorts that are laced with high energy to the podcast. Each podcast varies in duration from 1-83 minutes. The episodes are not labeled and I'm not wanting to count them since there are many. Therefore, I shall go with a years' worth to listen to on the podcast platform of your choice. I would say that the podcast is very detailed, creative, and playful with the different characters. I definitely think it is worth checking out for your young listener within the home. I didn't hear any cursing at all in any of the episodes. I think the podcast will grow and evolve over time. I'd like to see it like the cartoon Sponge Bob where some of the humor goes over the heads of the kids and seeps into the minds of the adults. It is something that I can see networks like Disney and Nickelodeon would entertain. For a young listener, there is plenty of content for them to enhance their playful imagination. Of course the humor is not limited to just children. However, the kiddos came to mind as I listened to various episodes. I totally laughed at the multiple podcast episode references of a "seafood smoothie"- YUCK! I am sure that as the podcast continues, they will come up with even more creative ideas with different venues. Usually by Friday, I have the direction that we are headed and do an overview for Emmett...lol. From the overview, all is improvised. So what you hear is very minimal editing.
