Releasing Episode 4: Testing Alcoholic Drinks- Very Soon!

hi everyone! I am working on releasing Episode 4: Testing Alcoholic Drinks very soon. I recently released Episode 3: Gorilla Glue Woman where we talked about the viral sensation Tessica Brown who used Gorilla Glue on her hair in a pinch. She realized that it had disastrous consequences!! Episode 1: Lot Lizard is the episode where we discuss the Amazon Prime Video documentary on truck stop prostitutes throughout the United States. Melissa and I discuss the women who are the main characters in the documentary. I typically work on editing the transcript before I release the podcast episode. I believe that it is a good practice to include the transcript to help hearing impaired people as well as global listeners where English is not their first language. In Episode 4, we had tested four types of alcohol. I had picked up these shot glasses made out of two types of cookie material. I bought them online at www.dirtycookie.com. My objective for buying them was to celebrate my goal of passing a series of safety exams. Yes, I expect them to not last very long. However, I totally didn't expect them to immediately piss out the bottom of the shot glass! On the good side, it did make it a humorous podcast episode!! :P

For our first shot, we used New Amsterdam Pink Whitney Vodka. This is the shot that we struggled to try because it disappeared out the bottom of our cookie shot glass and onto the table as soon as we poured it. We even had to stop recording then re-start after we cleaned up the mess. It is sweet in nature and tastes like pink lemonade. The loss of the shot onto the table was disappointing yet humorous.

Our second shot is called Wicked Pickle. I find it humorous how we had such strong reactions this choice in a simultaneous manner! I would describe the experience as a spicy pickle with a very strong taste. However, the experience was both parts powerful and revolting! I am not typically the drinker who leaves an alcoholic beverage unfinished. I made the exception for Wicked Pickle. That drink did a deep dumpster dive with the majority of it's contents still in the bottle. Melissa drank even less than I did. I am not a fan of alcohol abuse. I didn't even have the heart to trash the remains of the whiskey. Melissa was strong enough for the two of us and did a perfect slam dunk in the garbage hard enough for the both of us!

Thank goodness our next sample was sweeter on the pallet. I don't think either of us could handle another revolting pickle shot! For our next contestant, we chose Revel Stoke Peanut Butter Flavored Whiskey. In all fairness, my appeal for peanut butter whiskey is skewed. I tend to pick up Screwball peanut butter whiskey. That brand is super smooth as silk with a powerful alcohol content of 70 proof. My taste buds were so delighted to accept the remnants of the small airplane bottle of sweetness! It had a distinct flavor of peanut butter that welcomed a sweet sensation in addition. We went back and forth determining which one was our favorite, so far. I guess you have to check out the podcast to find out which one was the Oscars of the taste buds. :P

For our last shot, it was from a much larger sized bottle. I was totally counting on it tasting good. For our last sample, we tried Bird Dog Blackberry Flavored Whiskey. It was just as sweet as Revel Stoke. It had a smooth delivery. It even had a strong blackberry flavor. It also reminded you, with a strong booze aftertaste, that it was a whiskey. Melissa and I continued to sip on the bottle long after the podcast wrapped up. We even have some leftovers for another relaxing occasion. We have some Ole Smokey Tennessee Moonshine cocktails to sample at another time. Stay tuned for that episode coming to you real soon.
