Advice About People Accused Of Using Others

Photo Credit: Best Quotes Hello Everyone! How are you making out on your Wednesday afternoon!? Keep protecting yourself from this winter weather that has been rough lately. I bet you're not surprised that I found another question on Quora for us to review?? This question is from a person asking about figuring how to convince a person that they are not using them. The problem is that once the other person has that on their mind, this is hard to erase. If a person is claiming that you are using them, they are on the same page as the user. At the end of the day, may you only align yourself with good people who bring balance to the relationship. Nothing is worse than being used. I can't stand users! People who don't do for themselves and rely on others disgust me. They are weak and the leech need to be removed from the unsuspecting host. If two people have an agreement on the division of tasks, that is different. Do as you wish. It is best, if you discover an imbalance, to remove yourself from the relationship. If they don't do better, you have your answer as to their intent. Here is the posed question and my response below: POSED QUESTION: "How do you tell someone that you are not using them?" -By Bethany Holmes MY RESPONSE: "I believe that words on not using a person means nothing. This is a rather serious claim. The other person is eluding that the only reason you are around is because this person is useful to you. Either you asked for too many favors or this person wants a metal of drama for that one time they picked you up at the airport. If it is the second one, then remove yourself from their presence since they are semi-crazy. That mindset is hard to turn around once formed. Nearly impossible, via just saying that it is not true. This claim requires action for an extended period of time. 1) You can start by never asking the person for a single thing. 2) Show that person that you are doing what you used to ask of them on your own. If anything, start asking the other person how you can help them. Listen and ask questions about their likes. 3) Offer small gifts of what they like. 4) If you can’t afford monetary gifts, acts of kindness work as well. If you are not willing to do any of the (4) suggestions above, you need to re-evaluate your relationship. It’s not the worst thing in the world if you, after taking mental inventory, realize that you were asking too much of the other person. If true, fall back on the requests or keep digging for gold. If you are looking to change, it is wise to put distance between you two and re-evaluate your approach to the relationship. Be transparent about this approach, of course. If you are genuinely leaning too much on the other person, then face the music and admit it or take the pedal off the gas of relying so much on the other person. Remember that a relationship is a two way street. The other person should be able to lean on you just as hard as you have done to them. If the accusations are baseless, then cut ties with the drama King or Queen. I wish you luck with finding balance in your relationships." -By Leslie M. Short story #10 is entitled, "Early Life Lessons & Characters To Meet As An Apprentice". I released short story #10 that is now live. If anyone has read any of my other short stories, by all means, let me know what you think? I'm working on some upcoming podcast guests for the beginning of the Year 2022. I have an acquaintance who is a practicing Satanist. At some point, I want to chat with him/her about a recent choice to transition from a man to a woman. Thankfully, I'm feeling much better these days so I will work on getting back into creating content in my spare time. We're talking about doing a video chat for this interview. If so, it will be my first one. Melissa and I need to find time to get together and discuss our impending topic on our most embarrassing moments. It's now time for me to continue working on some projects today. Now go carry on with your Wednesday plans now that we are half way through the work week. I wish you a great morning/afternoon/evening on your side of the globe and a restful or productive day! The Verbally Disastrous Store On Tee-Spring:

This is short story #10 entitled, "Early Life Lessons & Characters To Meet As An Apprentice". This short story covers some initial life lessons such as guarding your personal information, managing nasty rumors, combating sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and racism. Overall, the construction culture has improved dramatically over the past 25-years. Developing both a thick skin and a sharp tongue are key tools needed to survive various jobsite antics. The previous short story is entitled: #9: "I'm Working On The Railroad With The Tools As A Chick!". I decided to write about some stories from when I worked with the tools on the railroad. I shared a story of saving a co-worker from a near death experience! I hope you learn something from this short story. There are more to come. This short story is now also available as (2) Verbally Disastrous podcast episodes. Construction Tales- Told By A Woman: (10) Kindle Vella Short Stories On Amazon!!
