Advice On Whether Or Not Being Scared Is Considered Weak Or Not

Photo Credit: Are You Scared Of The Voice In The Walls? by Watcher on YouTube Hello Everyone! I hope you are making the best of the last day of your Columbus Day weekend!? For my readers outside the U.S., we celebrate Columbus Day in reference to the ancient explorer who has been credited with discovering America. I actually like the holiday since it is one where not everything is shut down. I tend to use the time to get more work accomplished on my low content book collection on Amazon and my other creative venues. I was supposed to go hang out with my sons at a haunted old prison in Philadelphia, PA over this weekend. As I shared before, my sons and I enjoy checking out haunted houses during the month of October. The month of October is our favorite of the entire year. My son is playing football so his practice and the weekend rain was a conflict with our plans. Therefore, we shall reschedule for a better weekend. I absolutely love seeing that my son is so excited to play football and be a part of an undefeated varsity team. They are looking like they are going to state playoffs which is exciting. Of course, I need to subscribe to the local newspaper so I can get the news articles and save them for my son in the future. I'm putting positive energy out into the universe that my son will be approached by a college scout and get a football scholarship. On another note, I found another interesting question on Quora that requested my response. Therefore, I am going to share it with you and my response. I interpreted the question and mapped it out on electronic paper. This question was on the subject of being scared. I tried to think about it logically and trying to look at both sides of the coin. I don't always think that a person who is scared is weak. Fear is an emotion that we all have in life for different reasons. I don't believe that males should be denied that opportunity to exercise fear. On the other side of the coin, I don't think anyone should continually ride the coat tails of fear either. You must put the best foot forward and dodge crazy people with unpredictable behavior to the best of your ability. You don't need to submerge yourself in risky environments to prove yourself either. Only weak men run to the hills and dodge their duty as a father to their seed. Read my advice and let me know if you would also offer that kind of advice? If your advice is different, let me know that as well? Here is the posed question and my response below. POSED QUESTION: "If you are scared of someone, does it mean you are weaker than them?" -by Frbnna MY RESPONSE: "Well, let’s review the term scared. What does it really mean according to the dictionary? scared Definition of ADJECTIVE a word belonging to one of the major form classes in any of numerous languages and typically serving as a modifier of a noun to denote a quality of the thing named, to indicate its quantity or extent, or to specify a thing as distinct from something else… See the full definition https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/adjective Saved Words | Merriam-Webster https://www.merriam-webster.com/saved-words To save this word, you'll need to log in. Login | Merriam-Webster https://www.merriam-webster.com/login \ ˈskerd \ Definition of scared : thrown into or being in a state of fear, fright, or panic scared of snakes scared to go out Perhaps there is more than one way to look at this question. People fear the unknown and anyone with unpredictable behavior. Is the behavior considered dominant or just straight crazy? Does the person have evil intentions and harness negative energy? It is possible that a person behaves in such a manner that puts you in a heightened state of panic. When this happens, you are not necessarily weaker than the other person. Your pattern of behavior may not match the behavior pattern of the other person. One example of behavior does not already put one party weaker than the other one. If you have the heart of a lion, then the erratic behavior of others will not necessarily rattle you and put you into a state of panic. A lion is predatory in nature and considered the king & queen of the animal kingdom. Even lions know when it is best to just remove themselves from a situation such as hunting season. Because the lion made the choice to dodge the group of humans with firearms and bright colored suits, does this make him weaker than the hunter? Always being brave, fearless, and predatory is not always the right answer. Sometimes it is better to use your brain and execute a strategy to dodge a bad outcome. However, when it comes to protecting your family, this is the time where you are expected to fight to the bitter end. You must drop any form of fear and go into warrior mode. You must also use your brain to strategize if the possibility of defeat is on the table during combat. I believe that if a man runs away and doesn’t protect his family, then he is scared and weak. It is in your primal being as a male to protect your family. Mothers are not off the hook either. If anything, I expect more from a mother than a man protecting his family. Therefore, it is my conclusion that being scared of a person doesn’t necessarily mean that you are weaker. Unpredictable behavior from a crazy person can even put fear in the heart of a lion. How you respond to threats to your family shows who you are as a protector. If you believe that you have any form of weakness that you do not like, work on strengthening it. We are all in this life having experiences so that we may learn lessons. Nothing is concrete and everything can evolve and improve. I wish you much luck on your journey." -Leslie M. Jasper Thanks for making a pit stop at my content today. I also thank you for supporting my YouTube channel content if you are indeed guilty as charged. No surprises here, I am sharing my last released Verbally Disastrous Podcast episode via links for Spotify, Amazon Music, & YouTube below. I am also sharing the link to my (7) Kindle Vella short stories on Amazon as well. I still have to work on editing a podcast with my really good friend who is a retired high voltage splicer that I recorded last week. As I mentioned before, it is quite long so it will have a Part A & B. Editing is not my favorite thing to do. Make sure to have yourself an enjoyable Columbus holiday Monday and enjoy what is left of the weekend.
