Advice: *Trigger Alert!* Vulgar Construction Worker Phrase's Meaning Being Shared

This week has been extremely warm and humid here in New York City. Monday was extra swampy with humidity and thunderstorms. You know those days when you sweat if you bother to wear a raincoat. I just take the hit and walk in the rain since wearing a raincoat and sweating will not work Thanks for stopping by so I can share more random Quora advice posts with you. But first, I'm sharing my first children's book that's entitled, "Not All Girls Play With Dolls" that is available in e-book, paperback, and hardcover on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iTunes. I'm also sharing my first adult book entitled, "Construction Tales: Volume I: A Woman's Journey To Become An Electrician". Now, I'm offering you another double dose of Quora advice for your review. This first piece of advice is on sharing a vulgar and aggressive way of saying, “now you have an egg on your face” in English. I thought of something funny that I heard at work years ago. Of course, if the timing is right, I would open fire and repeat the phrase. Sadly, I have not found a prime moment to utter the phrase as of late. I made sure to let the reader know that this phrase would be saved for unique occasions. To my surprise, a meme was made from that phrase. For those who I made blush, I apologize. For those of you who laughed, you're quite welcome. I'm assuming that I do not have fragile flowers reading my content. However, I'm okay with being totally wrong on this assumption. If that's the case, it was great while it lasted. I do tend to say phrases that my co-workers have never heard of before. I totally appreciate the laugh and surprised look on their faces. While writing this blog, I told my co-worker the vulgar phrase from this blog post. As expected, he laughed and said he had never heard it before. For the second round of advice, I'm looking for the meaning behind the phrase, “understanding the function of what is said”. Yes, this one is by far more boring but sharing it anyway. We often come to the jobsite with plenty of sarcasm and one-liners. A sharp tongue firing an amazing retort will stop others dead in their tracks. A vulgar and aggressive way of calling a person a fool- “the best part of you dripped down your momma’s leg”. For the folks who do not understand the phrase, it is referring to the sperm that didn’t fertilize the egg that created you. I wouldn’t recommend using the phrase if the person is not capable of taking a joke. Exercise caution when slinging insults back and forth. Some indeed sting more than others.
