Advice On Psychological Attachment Via Favors

However you plan to spend your evening, I hope you are safe, happy, and healthy for the Year 2022. I'm sad to have learned that Ms. Betty White has passed away today a few weeks shy of her 100th birthday. I'm disappointed for her that she didn't achieve that amazing milestone. However, she is no longer in pain and will be forever young. I decided to pull some more questions from Quora so that we can review and discuss. This chosen topic is about, "the psychological saying that "asking a favour from someone makes him or her to develop attachment for you over time". I believe this topic speaks about a smaller portion of the global population. It hinges on the personality and the culture of where the person belongs within a society. I believe we are submerged in a global society of people who feel entitled for others to do for them. If a person feels entitled, how are they going to form any style of attachment to the person who does things them? I don't personally understand how anyone thinks they are entitled to the actions of others. I've been in a world where I am used to doing for myself. If anyone does anything for me, I feel absolutely compelled to return the favor. I'm aware that I am not the only one on the planet and my way is not the only way. How do you feel about this subject matter? If your interpretation varies significantly different than mine, let me know. When you live life under those conditions, you handle your own business and do not expect anything from anyone. If someone does something for you, it is of a high meaning and very valuable. Those people will feel indebted to the other person. It is considered to be somewhat of attachment where you feel like you need to pay back the favor when called upon to do so. On the other hand, if you expect stuff from others, via entitlement, you won’t feel compelled to return the favor since you expect it to come to you. Advice On (5) Pet Peeves

I will more than likely chill at home since I'm dealing with a cold. It's weird how the cold is no longer the only option and it could also be Covid-19. I'm not standing in line at the doctor's office so they can tell me that I need to take care of myself and let it run it's course. I will just lay low, hibernate, and rest up. Not only is the topic on your mind, it’s on your mind a lot. The topic may either require or not require extensive thought. If it doesn’t require extensive thought, then you are putting way more thought in than necessary. It’s not good mentally for a person to ponder about a topic to such a high level of intensity. New 3-Part Podcast Release!! Episode #45: Part C- Tramping In Cali!

Hello Everyone! How are you spending your time on your Wednesday afternoon!? Hopefully, you put more thought into your New Year's Eve plans by now? This whole Omicron Covid-19 variant is rapidly spreading throughout New York City so be careful. This ongoing health issue has put a monkey wrench in my NYE plans. I don't think I want to hang in a large group of people. I'm not planning on freezing my ass off while holding my urine like a camel out in Times Square anyways. That is stuff that's truly intended for drunken college kids from out of the city to do. This variant is spreading rapidly despite people being vaccinated for Covid-19. I'll fall back on discussing that further since it is an unnecessary stress. I'm not really into speaking on these types of topics anyhow. Despite what is going on around me, I choose to fall back from the news and focus on my podcast projects. As promised, I have really focused on editing and I totally finished the raw audio footage from my recent sit down over the phone with Photacular Imagery artist, Brian Reyes. I absolutely got just as many laughs during the editing process, if not MORE!! It is my goal for you to get as many laughs as we did! Brian and I were both in our electrical apprenticeship around the same time, within a about 2-3 years, and share mutual friends in the business. I worked with Brian back around 2011-2012 together at Yonkers Raceway for an electrical contractor. We have great chemistry as really good friends and share such a great sense of humor. This worked really well when you are working on an otherwise physically demanding job while moving around thousands of slot machines. I refuse to be miserable while doing either shitty jobs or under bad conditions of an environment. We had some other great co-workers who totally added to the comedic tone of the jobsite. Brian took a huge leap of faith and now works and lives out of California. He has a tremendous amount of balls to make this huge change in life!! I give him much credit for re-booting his personal life, via placing roots in another geographic location. He worked out in many areas within the vast state of California. As a kid who grew up in the Bronx, there were clear cultural adaptations that needed to be made. As of this date, he is still looking for the perfect slice of New York style pizza. He has heard of a location yet has not found the right time to sample the goods. I laughed at this issue since it is a common bitch amongst New Yorkers who become transplants elsewhere in the globe. Other than that, Brian fits right in since he is a gypsie at heart. He shared the "van life" culture that runs rampant in California. I was joking with him about getting a van years ago and sure enough, he now has one! :P Now that I'm done editing, check out these (3) podcast episodes where he shares his various experiences while traveling to different unions and meeting various people. To my surprise, there are many workers who travel throughout the U.S. to work temporarily on projects. He is now blessed to be tapped into that country wide pool of traveling tradesmen and tradeswomen. Of course, Brian can serve as a point of reference if you want to travel throughout the country for work. New 3-Part Podcast Release!! Episode #44: Part B- Tramping In Cali!

Hello Everyone! How are you spending your time on your Tuesday afternoon!? Are you already thinking about your New Year's Eve plans? This whole Omicron Covid-19 variant is rapidly spreading throughout New York City. This fact puts a monkey wrench in my NYE plans. This variant is spreading despite people being vaccinated for Covid-19. Despite what is going on around me, I choose to fall back from the news and focus on my podcast projects. As promised, I have really focused on editing to finish the raw audio footage from my recent sit down over the phone with Photacular Imagery artist, Brian Reyes. The beauty was that I got just as many laughs during the editing process. Brian and I were both in our electrical apprenticeship around the same time and share mutual friends in the business. I started work and school shortly thereafter by December 10, 1995 while Brian became an apprentice around 1998. I worked with Brian back around 2011-2012 together at Yonkers Raceway for an electrical contractor. We have great chemistry as really good friends and share such a great sense of humor. This worked really well when you are working on an otherwise physically demanding job while moving around thousands of slot machines. We had some other co-workers who added to the comedic tone of the jobsite. Brian took a leap of faith and now works and lives out of California. He has a tremendous amount of balls to make this huge change in life. He worked out in many areas; such as IBEW Locals #617 and #6 that hail from various areas in California. As a kid who grew up in the Bronx, there were clear cultural adaptations that needed to be made. As of this date, he is still looking for the perfect slice of New York style pizza. He has heard of a location yet has not found the right time to sample the goods. I laughed at this issue since it is a common bitch amongst New Yorkers who become transplants elsewhere in the globe. Other than that, Brian fits right in since he is a gypsie at heart. He shares his various experiences while traveling to different unions and meeting various people. There are many workers to travel throughout the U.S. to work temporarily on projects. He shared the "van life" culture that runs rampant in California. Perhaps Melissa and I will get to discuss our impending topic on our most embarrassing moments this upcoming weekend. It's now time for me to work on other tasks since I have some big things to take care of this week. I need to get back to my Zumba routine AND avoid the good food once the holidays are over. New 3-Part Podcast Release!! Episode #43: Part A- Tramping In Cali!

Hello Everyone! How are you spending your time on your Monday afternoon!? If you are reading this, I see that you survived this past Christmas holiday weekend!?! Hopefully, the teen in your life was not busted for twerking and knocking down grandma's Christmas tree? Imagine a snot-nosed kid breaking a 40-year old sentimental ornament? I just hope that someone recorded the foolery for Tik Tok and/or YouTube?! Did you either prepare and/or sit down and enjoy a big feast with your beloved friends and/or family this past weekend? Hopefully, there were no embarrassing issues that came about at the dinner table? I didn't cook a giant feast for this Christmas. I prepped a few pecan pies, red velvet cake, and made a ton of pudding Jell-o shots that were a hit at the Christmas party!! The new family tradition was a success and alot of fun. My lazy ass cat napped all day on Christmas. My goal was to focus on Christmas Eve and to rest on Christmas Day. Boy, this goal sure exceeded my expectations! :P I feel like I need to be productive to make up for bumming around on Christmas Day. For many years, the days preparing for Christmas Day were absolutely fun connecting yet super exhausting while preparing. I'm thankful for the down time that I get nowadays. However, do I look forward to future grandchildren and I guess the work that comes with it. Let me know in the comment section how was your Christmas festivities!? The pudding Jell-O shots were the following concoctions: Island Pineapple Jello with Coconut Rum, Dove Peanut Butter & Chocolate pudding with Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey, vanilla pudding with Stoli Salted Caramel Vodka, and Banana Cream pudding with Coconut Rum, whipped cream, and Nila Wafers. New Podcast Platform Reason.FM- Audio Blog & Podcast!!

Hello Everyone! How are you spending your time on your Monday afternoon!? We survived this past Christmas holiday weekend!?! Did you happen to twerk and knock down grandma's Christmas tree and break a 40-year old sentimental ornament? Hopefully, you had someone recording the foolery?! Were you preparing a big feast with your beloved friends and/or family? Hopefully, all went well with no issues. I didn't planning on cooking a giant feast this go around. Instead, I prepped a few pecan pies and make a ton of pudding Jell-o shots that were a hit at the Christmas party!! The new family tradition was a success and alot of fun. My lazy ass cat napped all da on Christmas. My goal was to focus on Christmas Eve and to rest on Christmas Day. Boy, this goal sure exceeded my expectations! I feel like I need to be productive to make up for bumming on Christmas Day. For many years, the days preparing for Christmas Day were absolutely fun connecting yet super exhausting while preparing. I'm thankful for the down time that I get nowadays. I had lasagna and pie on Christmas Day that just involved a microwave. :P However, do I look forward to future grandchildren and I guess the work that comes with it. The pudding Jell-O shots were the following concoctions: Island Pineapple Jello with Coconut Rum, Dove Peanut Butter & Chocolate pudding with Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey, vanilla pudding with Stoli Salted Caramel Vodka, and Banana Cream pudding with Coconut Rum, whipped cream, and Nila Wafers.
